Betsie Creek Crossings

Betsie Creek Crossings

Not only do we live in a wonderful residential neighborhood with quiet streets graced with attractive newer homes, we are also a condo association called Betsie Creek Crossings. We are a mix of young families and retirees; we are family oriented and pet friendly. Our streets meander through a lovely wooded setting and all the lots are at least one acre in size creating a nice combination of neighbors & privacy. The Bylaws state that the houses must be at least 1100 sq ft in size but most are larger. Our development has underground utilities; with natural gas, Spectrum/Charter cable TV, Cherryland Electric Cooperative. All the lots have private septic and well. Our development is serviced by the county, with deeded easement for county maintained paved streets, and snow plowing. Our neighborhood is just minutes to Interlochen Center of the Arts, Interlochen Golf course, Green Lake and Duck Lake and the Interlochen State Park. Downtown Traverse City is just quick drive, less than 20 minutes and quick access to Munson Medical Center.  The School District is the Traverse City Area Public Schools or TCAPS for short.

Testimonials from local residents

“I am truly blessed to have been born in Traverse City and have never found a reason to leave. Our area offers everything; both winter and summer activities. Why would you want to live anywhere else.....look at how beautiful this area is. Water everywhere, The Sleeping Bear Dunes, Old Mission Peninsula, Great Festivals, Great Wineries, Nice People, Lots of Golf, Canoeing, Skiing, Snowmobiling, Quaint surround areas....Leland, etc.....”

“The wonders of our Great Lakes Environment are unmatched. An occasional harsh winter is quickly forgiven when the cherry blossoms stretch out across my view in the spring, my sailboat beckons in the summer, and fall explodes with colors more vibrant than my native east coast. All this, and a remarkable social and cultural environment with so much richness it is impossible to take it all in."

“Growing up in the Grand Traverse region I had no idea how fortunate I was until I moved away. I missed the comfortable way people interacted with each other, I wished for a safe walk in the woods, and I wanted to be a part of a community. I live here for many reasons; the geography and the community are only part of it. I love the seasons, I enjoy summer music festivals, water sports, sailing and barbecues, fall high school football games and turtlenecks, skiing, snow shoeing & fireplaces in the winter and the joy of spring when the snow finally melts and the first flowers bloom for the sun. In addition to the seasons there's a cultural gem in our crown located in our back yard, Interlochen Center for the Arts (the camps, the academy, the college, the presentations and Interlochen Public Radio are all benefits to our community). The Grand Traverse Region is a community that I can truly be a part of and is undoubtedly a great place to raise a family.”
